Where its sister line Kyo No Oto follows traditional dyeing techniques, Kyo-Iro paints the places of Kyoto — the soft pink of cherry blossoms at Keage, the deep quiet of Fushimi's moonlight — in rich, saturated colors named for the city's most beloved corners.
